We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Hotel Housekeeping Houseperson. If you have a knack for tidiness, an eye for detail, and a spring in your step, this is the job for you!
Responsibilities:
- Embrace your role as the guardian of cleanliness and orderliness throughout the hotel premises.
- Work closely with the housekeeping team to ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are spick and span.
- Master the art of maintaining a pristine environment by swiftly and efficiently responding to cleaning requests, whether it's providing extra towels, delivering amenities, or replenishing supplies.
- Take pride in making beds with precision, ensuring they are inviting and oh-so-comfortable for our guests.
- Embark on an adventurous journey around the hotel, collecting and delivering items to guest rooms, including luggage, laundry, and any other special requests.
- Be the friendly face our guests encounter by offering assistance, directions, and a warm smile whenever you cross paths.
- Keep an eagle eye on any maintenance or repair needs, promptly reporting them to the appropriate department to ensure a seamless guest experience.
QualificationsRequirements:
- An infectious upbeat personality that radiates positivity and a genuine desire to make our guests' stay unforgettable.
- Physical fitness to handle the physical demands of the job, including extensive walking, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy items.
- A passion for cleanliness and an eye for detail that can spot a speck of dust from a mile away.
- An energetic and agile nature, capable of keeping up with the fast-paced demands of a bustling hotel environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues, both verbally and non-verbally (a smile can speak volumes!).
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines .
- A team player mentality, willing to lend a hand whenever and wherever needed.
- Prior experience in housekeeping or a similar role is a plus, but a passion for creating a welcoming environment is even more important.
